Our staff is committed to providing professional services in a nurturing, compassionate, healthy and therapeutic environment.

We offer hope and healing to families and individuals who are experiencing difficulties related to behavioral, psychological or emotional challenges, addictions and/or loss.
At Still Waters, we have a large staff of counselors and contractors that usually work outside of the office providing in-home services on a daily basis, we also have an Administrative Staff that helps keep all of the wheels spinning.

LeAnn G. Jean, LPC, MAC, CPCS
Founder and CEO

LeAnn Jean, LPC, MAC, NCC is the founder and CEO of Still Waters Professional Counseling, Inc.
She is a graduate of the University of Maine and has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, working with children and families. She also has specialized training in the area of substance abuse.
LeAnn is a visionary entrepreneur who owns several businesses in addition to SWPCI.
LeAnn is a local resident of Columbia County and has dedicated the last 20 years of her life to helping children and families locally and from around the world.
She loves to spend time with her kids boating, attending any New England ball game and social events.

Shareika Bennerman, LPC
Program Director

Starting her employment in 2009, Shareika has the distinguished honor of being the longest employed person at Still Waters.
She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in Social Work at Augusta State University and finalized her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Troy University.  
Shareika’s clinical knowledge is deep and she handles many areas including all Team Leaders, Counselors, Interns and Contractors.

Meagan Bright, LPC
Clinical Director

Meagan is an Augusta native and has been employed with Still Waters since 2013.
With years of experience in the behavioral health field, she graduated from Augusta University in 2012 with a BA in Psychology. In 2015, she obtained a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Psychology. She also has a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
She recently graduated from the Chamber of Commerce WOW (Women on the Way) Program and is an active leader in the community.

Lori Pack Messaadi
Business Operations Director

Lori owned an advertising agency for 17 years, doing national and international level work for multiple major corporations.
She specializes in infrastructure, business development, graphic design and image development.
She loves building businesses and helping people reach their potential and dreams.
Lori’s door is always open to discuss better ways to run the business, new ideas and employee’s personal goals.
Lori is an art collector, enjoys painting, drawing and sculpture making, creating memes on facebook and study of all religions.

Amber is a native of Augusta, GA, and has been with Still Waters since 2010.
She recently graduated with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University.
Amber knows at bit of everything at Still Waters, she’s the one we all go to when we have the most difficult questions.

Susan Shorey
Fiscal Manager

Prior to joining the SWPC team, Susan had worked in medical billing and office administration. She has also worked for a number of years as the lead book keeper for a local nonprofit.  She has been a foster parent, worked as a respite provider for troubled teens, and worked with her husband as a co-program director for a local youth program.  Susan is responsible for the fiscal office and works virtually from her office in Maine near Acadia National Park.

Special Programs Manager

Christy is from Valdosta, GA and is a military spouse, as a result she has lived many places including Alaska.
She has her bachelors in Psychology from the University of Anchorage Alaska and has her Masters degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
Christy worked in law enforcement for 8 years and also worked at a women’s recovery facility for substance abuse. She manages many departments in Still Waters, including our Intake Department, P.A.S.S. program and TTC.
She enjoys eating, traveling and spending time with her family.

Hope Beard, LPC
Team Leader – IFI


Hope joined our staff in October of 2017. She holds a Masters of Science Degree from Troy University of Alabama.
Hope grew up and currently resides in Lincolnton, Georgia.
She particular enjoys spending time with her family and helping the community with a variety of behavior and mental health concerns.
Her previous behavior and mental health experienced included working with Developmental and dual diagnosed individuals in an inpatient setting.
Hope has years experience in treating individuals in crisis as well as an array of other behavioral and mental health concerns.

Shaneika Davis, MS, ST
Team Leader

Shaneika is from Tignall, GA and has been in Augusta since 2003.
She has her Masters degree in Human Services from Liberty University and has completed a Masters in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
Shaneika has a future goal of working with soldiers with mental disorders.
Shaneika loves to shop ‘til she drops, eat and hang out with her family.

Team Leader

Kashon is from Waynesboro, GA and has been in Georgia all her life.
Starting in 2015, she first worked as an intern here at Still Waters and has grown to a team lead position in a very short time.
She obtained her Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
Kashon loves jigsaw puzzles, reading, watching horror movies and is a huuuge fan of the Atlanta Falcons. Any chance she gets, she faithfully attends Falcons games and wears all the fan paraphernalia!

Billing

After receiving her education in Illinois, Elizabeth relocated to Augusta’s warm climate.
She has enjoyed various types of office work including purchasing, accounting and medical billing. She is in her 25th year of billing and enjoys the daily variety and challenges that this field offers.
Elizabeth is married and loves to travel, knit, sew and cook.

Bryan Stevenson

Tim Green, MBA, BA, ST, ACE-CPT
Special Programs Lead

Tim has a dual bachelors in Psychology and Criminology from the University of South Florida and a Masters degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Science from University of Texas at San Antonio.
He spent 5 years in the Army and, as a result, lived all over the US and was able to travel the world to places like Korea, China, Afghanistan, Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, the UK, and Ireland. He is currently enrolled in the University of Southern California’s Master of Social Work program and expects to graduate in August 2020. Tim has experience managing small and large behavioral health, primary care, and outpatient surgery clinics. Tim’s passions include spending time with his fiancé and his kids, reading, and exercising.
